Modern Leaf Woodworks is a Colorado-based cabinet shop focused on fully custom residential projects.

We started in our garage in Golden and scaled quickly, from a small local operation to a 10,000 sq ft shop serving builders and designers across Colorado. The growth came from one thing: delivering cabinetry that installs cleanly, holds up over time, and keeps projects moving.

Every project is built from scratch, no standard sizes, no filler workarounds, using a combination of hands-on craftsmanship, CNC precision, and process-driven production.

Our shop is built around systems. Clear drawings, structured workflows, and repeatable processes mean fully custom work without the usual unpredictability. Projects are designed to function in real spaces, then engineered to install cleanly and perform long-term.

The result is cabinetry that looks beautiful, fits right, and works the way it should.

Before building our business in Golden, we spent years living and working internationally including Japan, China, and Singapore.

That experience influences how we approach design today: efficient use of space, clean lines, and a focus on function without excess.

We’re based in the Golden foothills, raising five kids and building a business in the same community we love to play, live and grow in.

Having a large family, we understand how kitchens are actually used, because we live it every day. That perspective carries into every project we take on.
